This project at Birchwood Grove, Bargeddie involved the complete transformation of an uneven and outdated garden into a luxury outdoor living space designed for modern family life, entertaining, and relaxation. The existing garden lacked structure, suffered from poor drainage, and required significant groundwork to create a functional and visually appealing layout.
The client wanted a contemporary, low-maintenance garden that would remain practical all year round while incorporating premium features and materials throughout. To achieve this, we carried out a full redesign and installation including porcelain paving, a bespoke timber pergola, raised planter features, luxury artificial grass, and modern fencing to create a clean and cohesive outdoor environment.
The completed garden has been transformed into a stylish and highly functional outdoor space with a premium finish throughout. The combination of Talasey Cava Quartz porcelain paving, luxury artificial grass, bespoke timber features, and modern fencing has created a seamless garden design that balances practicality with contemporary aesthetics.
The new pergola and seating area provide a dedicated space for relaxing and entertaining, while the raised porcelain-clad planter and artificial planting soften the overall design without adding unnecessary maintenance. The result is a modern garden that looks impressive year-round while remaining durable, practical, and easy to maintain.
The transformation began with a full excavation and groundwork package to address the uneven levels and drainage issues within the garden. A brand-new drainage system was installed to ensure effective water management in all weather conditions, creating a solid and reliable foundation for the rest of the project. Careful levelling and preparation work allowed the new layout to flow naturally throughout the space while maximising usability.
A large porcelain patio area was installed using Talasey Cava Quartz porcelain paving, chosen for its modern appearance, durability, and low-maintenance qualities. Matching pathways and step details were incorporated to create a consistent finish and improve the overall flow of the garden. To complement the hard landscaping, we installed a premium artificial lawn supplied by Tuda, providing a vibrant green space that remains attractive all year round with minimal upkeep required.
One of the standout features of the project is the bespoke timber pergola, which creates a dedicated seating area while adding height and architectural character to the garden. We also constructed a porcelain-clad raised planter complete with high-quality artificial planting, introducing texture and greenery without ongoing maintenance. The installation was finished with sleek vanishing style fencing around the boundaries, providing both privacy and a contemporary finishing touch to this complete luxury garden transformation.
